New link which shows that Huckabee is leading in a Rasmussen poll for Republican Candidates for 2012!    Way to go!!

This Wednesday, July 23rd from Noon to Midnight Eastern HuckPAC will be holding Vertical Day. 

Some of you may already be familiar with the concept as Mike Huckabee held Vertical Day on his campaign website on September 24-25, 2007.  During those 24 hours instead of pressing his supporters for money on the eve of the crucial 3rd Quarter fundraising deadline, Mike focused on the issues.  He answered voters questions and in videos and blogged about other important issues.  Joining him were key supporter, and guest bloggers (Newt Gingrich was one of them).  Also during those groundbreaking 24 hours supporters were able to share why we supported Huckabee.  I was one of them.  I am so proud to have taken part in such a historic day. 

On July 23rd HuckPAC is doing it all over again.  For the most part Governor Huckabee will be stepping aside (he will open and close the 12 hour event with a blog post).  In fact they will step aside and let Governor
Huckabee describe the details and purpose in his own words (from a recent blog post and E-mail to supporters): 

Here is a breakdown of Vertical Day information:

1) Each candidate has the option to blog 4 times about issues important to them.

2) They will redesign the homepage of www.huckpac.com to host Vertical Day.

3) One of the things we hope to accomplish is to introduce these candidates to you and your personal networks, Facebook friends, etc. They encourage you to forward the blog posts you like to friends and family. They will actually track the "friends contacted" using our send to a friend tool and share the information with you in real time.
4) I will open and close Vertical Day with a blog post of my own.

5) The following candidates are participating: Bob Clegg, Luke Puckett, Jim Inhofe, Lamar Alexander, John Cornyn, Steve Daines, Elizabeth Dole, Roy Brown, Gilbert Baker and Brad Lager. We will update this list on our
website as Huck PAC endorsed candidates agree to participate.
